Hello

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2016 and have worked in the field of human services for over 20 years. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts from Duquesne University in 2003 and my Master of Science from Chatham University in 2006. I have worked in a variety of settings such as: private practice, community mental health, the school system, and both inpatient and outpatient mental health.

I am fully trained in providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and specialize in treating trauma and PTSD. I also see clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and bipolar disorder, among other things.

I see myself as an eclectic practitioner who believes there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to therapy. I draw from varied evidence-based practices, including mindfulness based cognitive therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), existential, and solution focused therapy. I am fundamentally a client-centered practitioner who embraces the unique needs of each person and their presenting concern.
