Telehealth/Virtual Session

  • Sessions are conducted with video over a HIPPA approved platform.  Most insurances cover telehealth sessions. Not all insurance will cover audio only sessions (this means many insurances require or prefer telehealth be conducted on a video platform). 

  • Telehealth is not meant for a mental health crisis. In the event of a crisis please call 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.

  • There is a risk, although minimal, concerning talking about confidential matters over the internet.  Please keep in mind that we will do everything possible  to secure your confidentiality.  Also, keep in mind, the confidentiality limits discussed at your initial session as outlined in Consent  for Treatment and Patient Information and Agreement still apply to telehealth sessions.

  • Please be mindful that clinical appropriateness for telehealth applies. This means your counselor must feel your presenting concerns and interventions being used are appropriate for telehealth services. 

  • Should you want to pay out of pocket the cost is $95 for the frist session and $85 for subsequent sessions.  Sessions must be paid via credit card or debit card at the time of service.
