Hello

I have been providing counseling services since 2015. I am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling.

Previously, I worked as a program coordinator for transition age individuals with cognitive disabilities (i.e., ASD, ADHD, LD, TBI). Group and individual counseling services provided focused on self-awareness, social skills, emotion regulation, and executive functioning. To further enhance my ability to help neurodivergent individuals, I completed ADOS-2 clinical and differential diagnosis training. I am also a PEERS® for Young Adults certified provider.

Additionally, I have taught courses related to counseling and rehabilitation at the bachelor’s and master’s level. I supervised bachelor and graduate level students.

In 2020, I started a private practice working with neurodivergent clients, as well as adults with anxiety and other life stressors. While I tailor my interventions to the individual client, I often work from a strength based, cognitive-behavioral, or mindfulness approach.

Currently, I am a member of the American Counseling Association, American Rehabilitation Counseling Association, and Pennsylvania Counseling Association. I have presented at conferences on topics such as neurodivergence and ethics, executive functioning and group counseling, and pre-employment transition services.

To better serve my clients, I have happily joined Alicia at Hope Rising Integrative Counseling.

When I am not working, I am enjoying time with my husband, daughter, and two cats.
